Produced in Martinique in accordance with the standards of the Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée, Survi Rhum Blanc Agricole traces its origins to the 1940s at the Roches Carrées distillery, located in the elevated region of Le Lamentin. Now crafted by the Dormoy family at the renowned La Favorite distillery, the brand maintains a traditional approach to agricultural rum production. Distilled from freshly pressed sugarcane juice using a Creole column still, the process preserves the raw material’s aromatic integrity without the addition of sugar or flavouring agents post-distillation. The resulting spirit offers a precise aromatic profile, where vegetal freshness meets floral delicacy, layered with citrus notes, ripe cane and subtle peppery accents. On the palate, the structure is lively and well-defined, unfolding with aromatic tension and a persistent finish highlighting grassy tones and citrus peels. As the brand is not exported outside the Caribbean, this rum remains relatively unknown abroad, yet it continues to embody the historical depth and technical expertise characteristic of Martinique’s finest distillates.
