Tarquin’s Pink Grapefruit & Elderflower Dry Gin

Distilled on the north coast of Cornwall, this flavoured gin builds upon a base of 12 traditional botanicals, enhanced with locally foraged elderflower and seasonal pink grapefruit. All ingredients are macerated for 12 hours in a neutral grain spirit before undergoing a slow distillation in direct-flame-heated copper pot stills. The heart cut is selected entirely by nose and taste. The resulting distillate is proofed with pure British water. This expression reveals a bright aromatic profile of fresh citrus, floral nuance and a classic juniper core. The finish offers a tart, green note reflective of fresh grapefruit and hedgerow botanicals.
