Don Julio Reposado Tequila

Aged for eight months in American white oak barrels, Don Julio Reposado belongs to the tradition of soft yet structured tequilas shaped by measured cask influence. Distilled from blue agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco, the raw material is harvested at peak maturity, then slowly cooked prior to fermentation and double distillation. This relatively long maturation period for a reposado imparts a pale amber hue and a layered aromatic profile. The nose reveals ripe stone fruits, gentle spice and a light citrus touch. On the palate, the texture is smooth, delivering flavours of dark chocolate, vanilla and mild cinnamon. The finish lingers with notes of dried fruit, toasted nuts and caramelised apple. The result is a well-balanced interplay between vegetal agave character and controlled barrel maturation.
