Don Julio Blanco Tequila

A benchmark for unaged tequila, Don Julio Blanco results from double distillation of blue agave cultivated at high altitude in the volcanic soils of Jalisco. Each plant is hand-harvested at full maturity and stripped of its leaves before undergoing slow cooking to release its natural sugars. With no cask maturation, the agave expresses itself unaltered, revealing a direct and precise aromatic structure. The nose delivers crisp vegetal notes alongside citrus, lemon, lime and grapefruit, that enhance the spirit’s freshness. The palate is clean, lightly sweet, and built around unadulterated agave with a touch of saline minerality. The finish is dry and taut, extending the raw vegetal character within a crystalline structure. This cask-free profile represents the purest expression of the raw material.
