Only few distilleries do not sell part of their production to independent bottlers or brokers. Some of them, however, do not want their name featuring on the label. The Finlaggan single malt is a perfect example of this, as one can guess, without it ever being revealed, that a Lagavulin is hiding in the bottle. The name of this whisky comes from Loch Finlaggan on the island of Islay, near the namesake ruins. A wild and beautiful place, just like this excellent value for money whisky, typical of its native island.
