Citadelle Gin

Crafted at Château de Bonbonnet in southwest France, Citadelle Gin is distilled using 19 meticulously selected botanicals. Juniper berries, hand-harvested from the estate's own fields, form the aromatic foundation. The gin is made using a patented progressive infusion process, which adjusts both maceration time and alcohol strength to suit each botanical. This technique captures the full aromatic potential of each fruit, spice or plant with precision. Distilled slowly in one of nine restored copper stills, the result is a dry and balanced gin with layered complexity. The nose opens with a bold expression of juniper, followed by ripe citrus tones. On the palate, the profile evolves towards soft spices such as nutmeg, cinnamon and pepper. The finish is persistent, combining freshness with aromatic depth, a direct result of the carefully calibrated infusion process. The whole composition reflects expert craftsmanship and a focused botanical expression.
