B16D24 Square, a single plot malt whisky from Domaine des Hautes Glaces, originates from a single 2016 barley harvest in Vulson, aged 8 years in vin jaune casks. With a gradual reduction to 44%, it unveils an airy yet indulgent profile. On the nose, its oxidative vibrancy surprises with powdered walnut nuances and a woodland freshness, almost dusted. The palate is marked by a caressing smoothness, merging malt with vinous notes in a balanced harmony. The finish, both fruity and exotic, hints at sweet, tangy mango, leaving a lingering sensation of soft freshness. B16D24 Square is a tribute to the harmony between Trièves and Jura terroirs and the influence of cask ageing.
