Springbank 10 year old

The third release in the distillery’s sherry wood series, this 10-year-old expression is defined by a dual maturation—five years in bourbon casks followed by five years in Amontillado sherry casks. The nose opens with an earthy, musty presence, complemented by maraschino cherry, toasted hazelnut and blood orange. On the palate, a refined dryness carries notes of cured meat, gorse flower and cedar cigar box, delicately lifted by sweeter impressions of coconut and dark treacle. The finish is clean and firmly structured, revealing dry spice, wood shavings and tarragon in a persistent, savoury tail. A singular single malt shaped by saline tension and aromatic complexity, echoing the sunlit austerity of Andalusian cellars.
