Rìgh Seumas I The Vatting Autumn 2015 pays homage to the legacy of Scotch whisky, blending malts aged in a variety of Madeira, French wine, and Bourbon casks. At the heart of this vatting are 10-year-old Bruichladdich and older whiskies from Auchentoshan, Rhosdhu, Arran, and Tobermory. The result is characterised by notes of sweet fruits, toffee butterscotch, and creamy apple tart. The palate reveals dried fruits, oak spices, honeyed leather, and warming char. This inspired opus of scents and flavours culminates in a light floral finish, offering a charismatic finale.
