Yushan Signature Bourbon Cask

Produced in Taiwan by the Nantou Distillery, Yushan Signature Bourbon Cask is a single malt whisky distilled in copper pot stills of Belgian and Scottish origin. It is exclusively matured in bourbon casks, with no added colouring and no chill filtration. This type of ageing allows for a precise expression of the aromas imparted by American oak, while preserving the natural texture of the spirit. The subtropical climate of the Nantou region, located in the centre of the island, encourages a notable concentration of flavours during maturation. This single malt presents an aromatic profile centred on vanilla, pastry cream, and honey, supported by floral notes. On the palate, the texture is smooth, revealing caramel, soft spices, and a balanced malty character. The finish remains light, with lingering hints of mandarin and vanilla.
