Produced at the City of London Distillery, the first gin distillery to operate in the City in over 200 years, Whitley Neill Original London Dry Gin is crafted using a selection of nine botanicals. Rooted in English tradition and influenced by African ingredients, the recipe includes North Macedonian juniper berries, Eastern European coriander, Spanish orange and lemon peels, as well as angelica and orris roots. Two distinctive elements define its character: baobab fruit powder, contributing citrus sharpness and texture, and Cape gooseberry, offering bittersweet, fruity notes. The resulting spirit displays a classic juniper-led profile enhanced with citrus brightness, floral undertones, and soft spice. The finish is marked by herbal nuances, cocoa hints, and candied peels. This expression reflects a precise balance between traditional distillation and a curated selection of unique botanicals.
