Don Julio 1942 Tequila

Distilled in small batches and aged for a minimum of two and a half years, Don Julio 1942 is produced in tribute to the founding year of the La Primavera distillery. Made exclusively from hand-selected blue agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco, the tequila undergoes double distillation before resting in American white oak barrels. The prolonged maturation under extreme climatic conditions imparts a velvety texture and a complex aromatic profile. The nose reveals intense notes of caramel, cocoa and oaky vanilla. On the palate, the balance between roasted agave, toasted wood and honey delivers a deep and slightly spiced structure. The finish is long, with lingering oak tannins, vanilla sweetness and a refined hint of leather.
