Coconut Rum

Planteray Cut & Dry is crafted from Barbadian rum and locally sourced coconuts, reflecting a precise approach rooted in origin and artisanal technique. Mature coconuts are hand-picked, opened, and sun-dried in open air under the Barbadian sky, a method that concentrates their essential oils. The dried coconut pieces are then infused into a blend of rums produced at the Stade’s West Indies Rum Distillery, combining column still distillates and spirit from the Old Gregg’s Pot Still. This infusion is further assembled with rum aged for up to three years in oak casks. The final product is lightly sweetened at 35 g/L, with a minimal addition of sugarcane caramel (between 0% and 0.1%). The result is a spirit marked by the typical character of Barbadian rum, enhanced with toasted, creamy and fruit-driven notes from the coconut. The base rum, made from molasses, undergoes a fermentation lasting three to four days, lending complexity and depth. Planteray Cut & Dry connects two emblematic elements of Barbadian heritage in an infused rum that remains technically anchored in its distillation profile.
