Arran Sherry Cask

The Bodega

In 2019, the distillery revamped its range significantly and introduced two new expressions: The Quarter Cask and The Sherry Cask – The Bodega. An aging process in first-fill Oloroso Sherry casks for seven years gives depth and richness to this single malt from the Arran distillery. A non-chill filtered version, natural colouring, and a cask strength bottling at 55.8% in "New Look" bottles.

The Distillery

Once a hub of distilleries (more than 70), the small Isle of Arran, Scotland’s southernmost, remained nonetheless free of distilleries between 1837 and 1995. Since the release of its first 3 Year Old single malt in 1998, the distillery has gradually imposed its creamy and fruity style, offering a subtle but crowd-pleasing whisky. It also produces two blends: Lochranza and Robert Burns, as well as a "cream liqueur". A second distillery, Lagg, opened in 2019 and is now dedicated to the peated version of the Arran malt.
