Tomatin is one of those discreet but eminently reliable Scottish distilleries. If you lack inspiration and don't know what to choose from a "whisky library," Tomatin will never let you down. Initially rather fresh and fruity (apple, blackcurrant, and rhubarb), it becomes more indulgent, offering beautiful notes of honey-buttered toast and jam, enhanced by a touch of white chocolate. Regressive and exquisite.
