Rhum JM XO

Produced in accordance with the Martinique AOC, this aged agricole rum is column distilled from freshly crushed sugarcane juice grown on volcanic soils surrounding the Fonds-Préville distillery. Following distillation, it undergoes a minimum ageing period of six years in oak casks previously used for bourbon. The casks, toasted on site using controlled heating techniques, support the gradual development of its aromatic profile. The nose reveals a complex array of candied fruit, dried fruit, jam-like nuances and subtle spice. The palate is structured and generous, balancing the assertive oak character of American wood with the aromatic depth of agricole rum. A rounded texture accompanies a long finish, shaped by the evolution of mature notes and the tension of the wood.
