Jamaican rums are as divisive as peated whiskies: you either cherish them or detest them. This bottling, excessively marked (DOK is the "mark" indicating the highest level of esters practiced), is not meant to appease the debate. The nose offers exuberant aromas of overripe - even roasted - pineapple; the palate, on the other hand, is unquenchable, stretching out with long-lasting saline notes bordering on green olives. For discerning palates!
