Ardmore 2009
Wilson & Morgan, Heavy Peat
From the heart of Speyside, this Ardmore 2009 surprises with its exceptionally peaty profile. Aged in cask for nine years, it develops an intriguing complexity. The malty sweetness of Speyside remains, but fresh fruits give way to creamy vanilla, a testament to extended maturation. The true star is the peat smoke, massive and enveloping, with a balsamic signature. Pine, resin, mint, and camphor mix with floral hints, evoking the robustness of island malts while retaining its distinct character. A powerful malt that will delight smoke lovers.

The Distillery
This Highland distillery was built in 1898 to supply the Teacher's Highland Cream blend, which is very popular in Scotland. It was one of the last distilleries to promote the fire heating of its stills. Its style is distinctive as a Highland single malt, with notes of smoked fish, earth and vanilla.
