Voyage by Alfred Giraud is an audacious whisky from the Exploration range, crafted from a unique blend of two single malts aged in Sauternes and French acacia casks. The Sauternes casks impart notes of custard, sweet grapes, and acacia honey, while the rarely used acacia wood adds hints of white flowers. This whisky showcases the French terroir with balanced aromas of blackcurrant and ripe grapes. On the palate, the sophisticated sweetness of ripe grapes and honey melds with fresh floral notes, offering a bold structure and a complex, sweet, and floral finish.

The House

Alfred Giraud whisky is made from three different French malts and works foremost with the Saint-Palais distillery, the whisky branch of SVE distillers, located in Saint-Palais de Négrignac in Charente Maritime. Its maturation finished in ex-cognac casks, in partnership with the Giraud family which owns a Limousin Oak farm, and its experience in ageing brandies, acquired notably at Rémy Martin, set it apart.
