While this rum is indeed in the purest tradition of Jamaican rums, rich in fruits and colors, it represents the more balanced style of Clarendon. Distilled in a pot still for a pronounced character and aged for 8 years on-site, it is also processed in second-fill American oak barrels for a subtle wood influence. The result is a fruity but not explosive rum, refined and well-structured, with a beautiful length, making it ideal for an introduction to the category.
