The Distillery
The Jim Beam distillery produces four "Small Batch" Bourbons made from old recipes: Knob Creek, Basil Hayden's, Baker's and Booker's. Knob Creek whiskeys were originally created by Booker Noe to bring to the American public the forgotten flavours of pre-Prohibition spirits, which are more pronounced and richer. This flavour is achieved through small batch distillation, extended maturation and particularly fire-charred casks. The name Knob Creek comes from a river flowing below the estate in Kentucky, where the future US President Abraham Lincoln was born.
