Established in Marseille in 1897, Old Manada is the oldest rum brand from Marseille that continued its legacy throughout the 20th century. Historically, Old Manada was primarily crafted from Martinique rum, with its aging and finishing process taking place in Marseille. This tradition still continues in its present-day production. However, by deviating from the AOC Martinique regulations, it naturally cannot claim that appellation. The current version of Old Manada Gold is created using Martinique agricole rum, bringing a woody note acquired through a brief 6-month maturation in Cognac casks.
