The Distillery
ounded in 1825 by Charles Colvill in Campbeltown—once dubbed the whisky capital of the world—Dalaruan was a thriving distillery until the collapse of the industry in the 1920s. It closed in 1925, its remaining stocks auctioned off and the buildings were soon demolished.
